Fabrics soft but structured, so it doesnt look frumpy even over sweaters. Wore it to work with slacks, then to a movie with jeans.

This coat is everything I wanted for fall commutes. The navy blue is so rich and deep, not that washed-out shade you sometimes get in photos. I wore it over a chunky cream turtleneck on my first day back in the office and got three compliments before 9am.
The slightly oversized shoulder fit is exactly right, structured but not costume-y.
The double breasted buttons are solid and the notched lapel looks genuinely expensive for the price. My only note is the sleeves run just a touch long on my 5'4 frame, but nothing a quick hem can't fix. Overall I wear this every single week.
